Các nhà nghiên cứu Stanford chỉ ra cách in các mảng bóng bán dẫn dày đặc trên vật liệu giống như da để tạo ra các mạch có thể co giãn, linh hoạt với cơ thể để thực hiện các ứng dụng chưa từng có trong tưởng tượng.

Các nhà nghiên cứu tại Stanford đã dành gần hai thập kỷ để cố gắng phát triển các mạch tích hợp giống như da có thể kéo dài, gấp lại, uốn cong và xoắn - hoạt động liên tục - và hoạt động trở lại mà không bị lỗi. Các mạch điện này có thể cho ra các sản phẩm có thể đeo và cấy ghép.
