Google supported Vietnam in developing digital talent, spreading the spirit of innovation
Through the Digital Talent Development Program and the Startup Support Program for technology businesses, jointly implemented by the National Innovation Center (NIC), the Ministry of Planning and Investment and Google Corporation, 20,000 scholarships will be awarded for students in Vietnam who have a passion for information technology but access is still limited, and many businesses have the opportunity to access specialized training courses.

Through the cooperation of NIC and Google, 20,000 scholarships will be awarded to Vietnamese students and 50 businesses to access the intensive course.
Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong shared that Vietnam's innovation ecosystem is entering a critical development stage, requiring a lot of investment and in-depth support to be able to develop innovation start-ups and form a team of high-quality and international-level human resources.
The program to support the development of digital talents (Google career certificates) and the Startup Support Program for technology businesses jointly implemented by NIC and Google Corporation will help our country's innovation ecosystem to achieve set goals, develop and improve human resources, support start-ups to develop technology solutions, create positive change and spread the spirit of innovation.
Specifically, the Digital Talent Development Program will offer flexible training, delivered on the online course provider Coursera. The audience of the course is people who have no experience or have certain knowledge. 5 intensive courses including: Information technology support (IT support), project management, data analysis, user experience design (UX design), digital marketing and e-commerce (digital marketing and e-commerce).
To implement this program, Google is working with NIC to offer 20,000 scholarships to students from more than 40 universities and vocational schools in Vietnam who have a passion for information technology but have limited access to information technology. Of these, 3,000 scholarships will be available to businesses, organizations and individuals who wish to register directly at the website: nhataiso.nic.gov.vn.
With the Google Startups: Academy Vietnam Startup Support Program, 50 businesses have the opportunity to access in-depth training and leaders in the regional and domestic ecosystems. The 5 main groups that the program focuses on include: People (development of leadership skills), businesses (learn about the latest models and trends in the industry), product management (discovery of the latest trends in the industry) appropriate strategies and tactics), technology (how to build and improve the quality of technology products with Google's technology, products and tools), marketing (intensify marketing using Google's solutions).
According to Deputy Minister Tran Quoc Phuong, the cooperation between NIC and Google helps to give the digital divide by providing more learning and development opportunities for talented people and startups in Vietnam.
