The development of the Project on Digital Transformation of Sectors, Standards, Metrology and Quality is an important and difficult task, because when switching to a new working method, it requires changes in legal documents in perception and working methods.
Digital transformation is the process of converting processes and management systems from the real world to the digital world, by applying new technologies, such as cloud computing, big data, Internet of things,... Thereby, changing the mode of operation, leadership, working process, organization of production, business and consumption.
Entering 2023, the digital transformation of the Directorate continues to be promoted. Dr. Ha Minh Hiep affirmed that, in order to meet the requirements of integration, especially serve people and businesses better, digital transformation is an inevitable trend. The development of the Digital Transformation Project in the Directorate sector is an important and difficult task, because the transition to a new working method requires changes in legal documents, awareness, and working methods.
Accordingly, the Digital Transformation Project will be implemented according to the roadmap from now to 2025 and the period of 2025-2030. The period from now to 2025, will focus on building digital platforms and digital data with a national scale, especially on improving the working environment, working methods and overcoming unconnected data, not shared; In the period of 2025-2030, focusing on research and development of mobile applications (Mobility), Internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, social networks,...
