Blockchain technology promotes digital transformation in Vietnam
Digital transformation in Vietnam is going into reality. Many new technologies, such as Big Data, Cloud, AI, VR/XR... are invested in research, development and application by enterprises to promote digital transformation. Blockchain technology with enormous application potential is gradually being introduced into many fields, solving many difficult problems with outstanding features, such as transparency, security, speed and cost.

Blockchain technology is still being considered by many countries as one of the important options for economic development. The global Blockchain technology market size will reach 5.92 billion USD in 2021, about 7.18 billion USD in 2022 and expected 163.83 billion USD in 2029 (Grand View Research Report).

Vietnam is being considered as a market with the highest level of Blockchain adoption, as well as the leading development of Blockchain technology. Currently, there are more than 10 Vietnamese creative startups with a capitalization of over 100 million USD and "unicorn" start-ups in this field.

Despite many challenges, Blockchain is gradually being put into operation, practical applications in many fields, such as finance, banking, transportation, logistics, healthcare, education... solving many problems, challenges with outstanding features, such as transparency, security, speed and cost.

Among the Top 200 companies and businesses operating on blockchain technology in the world, there are 7 businesses founded by Vietnamese people. According to MarketsandMarkets, the Blockchain-related market in Vietnam is expected to reach a value of nearly $2.5 billion by 2026, increasing 5 times in size compared to 2021.

To position the development trend of Blockchain platforms and technology, Vietnam Blockchain Summit 2023 (Vietnam Blockchain Summit 2023) organized by Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) and Blockchain Association Organized by Vietnam will take place on October 12-13, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City.
