Nghiên cứu khả năng sinh sản và ưu thế lai của vịt bố mẹ (CT12XCT34)
Một nghiên cứu của Vũ Đức Cảnh và ctv. tại Trung tâm Nghiên cứu gia cầm Thụy Phương đã đánh giá khả năng sinh trưởng, sinh sản, ưu thế lai của vịt bố mẹ.

Giai đoạn 2010-2015, Trung tâm Nghiên cứu gia cầm Thụy Phương đã nghiên cứu chọn tạo được 4 dòng vịt chuyên thịt CT với các tính trạng về sinh trưởng, sinh sản đạt cao: khối lượng cơ thể ở 5 tuần tuổi dòng CT1 vịt trống đạt 1888,32 g, vịt mái đạt 1725,14 g; dòng CT2 vịt trống đạt 1699,26 g, vịt mái đạt 1576,13 g. Dòng CT3 có năng suất trứng/mái/48 tuần đẻ đạt 228,95 quả, dòng CT4 có năng suất trứng/mái/48 tuần đẻ đạt 239,11 quả [1]. Từ năm 2017 đến 2019, Trung tâm tiếp tục chọn lọc ổn định năng suất 4 dòng vịt chuyên thịt nêu trên. Để đánh giá khả năng sản xuất của vịt bố mẹ từ tổ hợp lai 4 dòng vịt này, chúng tôi tiến hành thực hiện đề tài “Khả năng sinh sản và ưu thế lai của vịt bố mẹ (CT12xCT34) nhằm đánh giá khả năng sinh trưởng, sinh sản, ưu thế lai của vịt bố mẹ (CT12xCT34).

Nghiên cứu này nhằm đánh giá khả năng sinh trưởng, sinh sản, ưu thế lai của vịt bố mẹ (CT12xCT34) từ 4 dòng vịt chuyên thịt CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4 mới chọn tạo tại Trạm nghiên cứu gia cầm Cẩm Bình thuộc Trung tâm Nghiên cứu gia cầm Thụy Phương, bằng phương pháp lai kinh tế và bố trí phân lô ngẫu nhiên hoàn toàn một nhân tố. Kết quả cho thấy, khối lượng cơ thể ở 24 tuần tuổi của vịt trống CT12 đạt 4288,67 g, vịt mái CT34 đạt 3323,00 g, năng suất trứng/mái/42 tuần đẻ đạt 225,36 quả, ưu thế lai về năng suất trứng là 8,19%, tiêu tốn thức ăn (TTTĂ)/10 trứng là 3,98 kg, ưu thế lai về TTTĂ/10 trứng -5,61%, tỷ lệ phôi đạt 93,91%, ưu thế lai về tỷ lệ phôi là 1,24%, số vịt con loại 1/mái là 155,84 con.
