Handing over the Sars-Cov-2 Virus testing system to Can Tho City health sector
In the morning of July 14, 2021, the Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a ceremony to hand over the Sars-Cov-2 Virus testing system to the Can Tho city's health sector to serve Sars-CoV-2 virus testing for people in the city when there are epidemiological factors suspected of having Covid-19. Attending the ceremony, there were Mr. Tran Viet Truong - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Ton - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Health Department; Mr. Huynh Minh Truc - Director of Can Tho CDC; Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy; Mr. Lai Minh Long - Director of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital; Mr. Chau Chieu Hoa - Director of Can Tho Ear - Nose - Throat Hospital. On the side of Phu Sa One Member Limited Company, there was Ms. Le Thi Mai Trinh – Deputy Director of the Company. On the side of the Department of Science and Technology, there was Mr. Ngo Anh Tin – Member of the Party Committee, Director of the Department.

Leader of the Can Tho City People's Committee presented 600 Sars-Cov-2 rapid test kits to the Can Tho City Department of Health, Can Tho City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Can Tho City Ear - Nose - Throat Hospital.

Mr. Tran Viet Truong - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee gave the Decision on the issuance of 02 lists of medical equipment for SARS-CoV-2 testing to Phu Sa One Member Limited Company.
The Sars-Cov-2 Virus testing system was developed by Can tho City Department of Science and Technology cooperated with the Paster Institute of Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Sa Biochemistry One Member Limited Company to implement it from the beginning of 2020. The system has been appraised by the Ministry of Health and licensed to circulate in the market in Decision No. No. 3410/QD-BYT on July 13, 2021. The function of this system is to detect Sars-Cov-2 in upper respiratory tract specimens that synthesize pharyngeal and lower respiratory tract secretions (sputum, bronchial fluid, endotracheal fluid, pleural fluid) based on the basic Realtime PCR technique, the Spotcheck system reads amplified products within 2 hours, saving time and costs, regardless of imported biological products.
