Nghiên cứu đầu tiên về không khí phát thải từ tái chế xe cũ ở Việt Nam
Một số hợp chất hữu cơ phát thải trong quá trình tái chế xe cũ có thể gây ô nhiễm môi trường.

Các nhà nghiên cứu Khoa Hóa học và Trung tâm CN môi trường và Phát triển bền vững (ĐH Khoa học Tự nhiên, ĐHQGHN) và Trung tâm CN tiên tiến về môi trường (trường ĐH Ehime) mới có công bố “Polyurethane foam-based passive air sampling for simultaneous determination of POP- and PAH-related compounds: A case study in informal waste processing and urban areas, northern Vietnam” (Lấy mẫu không khí thụ động chứa bọt polyurethane để xác định đồng thời hai hợp chất liên quan đến POP và PAH) trên Chemospher, tạp chí có hệ số 5.108 của NXB Elservier.

Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy những nguồn tiềm năng các hợp chất ô nhiễm hữu cơ đặc biệt có tính chất giống dioxin như PCBs, PAHs, Me-PAHs phát thải trong quá trình sửa chữa các loại xe máy hết hạn sử dụng hoặc để lấy một số cấu phần của những loại xe cũ khác, ví dụ như dầu thải, lốp xe… cũng như phát thải các chất PCBs và PBDEs gây ô nhiễm vùng đô thị hiện nay ở Việt Nam. Đây sẽ là một trong những nghiên cứu cần thực hiện ở các quốc gia đang phát triển, nơi xuất hiện nhiều ô nhiễm do quá trình đô thị hóa và các hoạt động tái chế rác thải không theo quy định.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University was an implementing agency; Science and Technology Advances Application Center, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technology Incubator were coordinating units.
