Launching a platform to support online sample collection and return of test results
The platform has just been put into operation by the National Center for Prevention and Control Technology of COVID - 19 to overcome the waiting time for testing, slow sampling, slow return of results and reduce the load on the medical team who are having to work manually while taking a large sample volume.

The localities that are deploying this platform include: Tay Ninh; Binh Duong; Bac Giang; Dong Nai; Dong Thap; Can Tho; Vinh Long; BA Ria Vung Tau. 26 other localities are also in the process of training to deploy.
According to the previous process, before being sampled, people will fill out a pre-printed form for medical staffs to enter information from that paper into an excel file. In the condition of using protective gear and gloves, entry is difficult and slow. The data entered into the excel file is very difficult to make statistics because it is not linked with other systems, not to mention that each place can enter different data. Meanwhile, the information people fill out on paper may be missing and inaccurate, and the process of entering data into the computer is also prone to errors. Therefore, the test management technology platform will help solve the above problems.
With the application of the test management technology platform, people participating in sampling will install the Bluezone application and make a medical declaration to be issued a personal QR code on the phone, until the sample is taken, just present it. Your personal QR for healthcare workers. Medical staffs will scan people's personal QR codes to match the person to be sampled with the test tube. In the case of pooled sampling, the medical staff will continue to scan the QR code of the people in the group and then take the whole group's sample and put it into a test tube to complete the sampling process.
With this new method, people only need to declare their health on the Bluezone application. Medical staffs only need to scan the code to push data to the system instead of having to manually enter data into excel, so sampling will be very fast and accurate, eliminating manual input and avoiding errors, slow. The automatic data entry process will also minimize contact, reducing the possibility of infection.
To deploy the test management technology platform system, localities should contact the National Center for Technology for Prevention of COVID-19 or the Department of Informatization - Ministry of Information and Communications.
