Applying digital technology solutions in the medical field
In the morning of September 10, 2021, Hai Phong City's Department of Science and Technology organized an online workshop titled "Application of digital technology solutions in the medical field" at the Hall of Center for Science - Technology Development and Innovation.

Attending the workshop, there were: Ms. Pham Thi Sen Quynh - Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh - Director of Center for Science - Technology Development and Innovation; representatives of leaders and managers of Viettel Hai Phong Group, Vietsen Group, Moss Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company, MedON Digital Health Services and Technology Joint Stock Company and representatives of relevant departments and branches, medical examination and treatment facilities, medical centers, medical stations, a number of businesses in the city and neighboring provinces/cities.

Opening the workshop, Ms. Pham Thi Sen Quynh - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology said that in the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, the world has been facing the negative impacts of the disease, threatening the world and pull back the development of each country, including Vietnam. Therefore, digital transformation becomes more and more important and becomes an urgent need of the whole country, localities, industries and businesses, especially in the health sector. Therefore, the Department of Science and Technology organized a workshop to help organizations and units that need access to digital transformation technology solutions in the health sector.

The workshop introduced information on comprehensive digital technology application in medical examination and treatment facilities, contributing to reducing hospital workload, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, using electronic medical records to move towards no use paper medical records, forming smart hospitals; building a smart healthcare management platform based on digital technology. Specifically, instructions for online registration for Covid-19 vaccination; Digital transformation solutions in the medical field; MOSS CLINIC - A total solution for managing clinics, health centers, commune health lines; MedOn - Digital health solutions for doctors and patients; Food safety management software to prevent Covid-19; Hospital management software VNPT HIS and etc.

Within the framework of the event, delegates were interested in discussing about introduced digital technology solutions and expressed their wish that in the coming time there will be many digital applications in the health sector, contributing to drastic changes model, how to manage and optimally serve the needs of the people, especially in the context that the Covid-19 epidemic may take a long time.
