Promulgating the Operation Regulation of the National Committee on Digital Transformation
On March 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who is also the Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, signed Decision No. 24/QD-UBQGCDS on promulgating the Commission's operating regulations.

This Regulation prescribes the tasks and working principles of the National Committee on Digital Transformation; applicable to the Committee members and the Working Group assisting the Committee.
The National Committee for Digital Transformation has the function of researching, proposing and assisting the Government and Prime Minister in directing and coordinating the implementation of guidelines, strategies, mechanisms and policies to create a legal environment to promote national digital transformation process, associated with administrative reform; building and developing e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society and smart city; facilitate the implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam.
In terms of working principles, the Committee works democratically, openly and decided by the Chairman of the Committee.
Committee members proactively deal with work in the process of performing tasks, ensuring work coordination and information exchange.
The Committee and members of the Committee, Working Group and members of the Working Group do not replace the functions and tasks of agencies, units and heads of agencies and units in the state administrative system; handle the work in accordance with the authority and responsibility assigned, in accordance with the order and procedures as prescribed by law.
The Committee can work in the form of holding regular meetings, organizing conferences, seminars or giving written opinions. The Committee meets periodically once every quarter, every six months; year-end review meetings with the Digital Transformation Steering Committees of ministries, branches and localities, or irregularly at the request of the Committee's Chairman. In addition, the Standing Committee of the Committee can hold meetings with relevant agencies. Participants in the meeting are decided by the chairperson of the meeting. Each meeting of the Committee, the Working Group must have a specific and clear proposal report with objectives, progress and results.
On September 24, 2021, the Prime Minister decided to consolidate and change the name of the National Committee on E-Government to the National Committee on Digital Transformation to accelerate the direction of national digital transformation.
The Committee has 16 members, the Chairman is the Prime Minister, the Standing Vice Chairman is the Deputy Prime Minister to directly monitor and direct the field of information and communication; Minister of Information and Communications as Vice Chairman.
