Metrology is an accurate science and technology that plays an important role in production and life. Uniform and accurate measurement will contribute to ensuring social justice, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of all organizations and individuals in economic and civil transactions; contribute to economical use of natural resources and energy materials. This is also an effective tool contributing to improving productivity, quality and reputation for organizations, individuals and businesses in the production and trading of goods.
With the role of State management in measurement activities, over the past time, the Department of Science and Technology of Thai Nguyen province has focused on helping organizations, individuals and businesses raise awareness and responsibility in ensuring measurement. Accordingly, the Department propagates measurement activities through the press, television, and electronic information sites; organizing workshops and training conferences; Update new regulations on product quality measurement standards and etc.
Particularly during the Lunar New Year 2022, the unit coordinated with the functional sector to inspect 11 production, import and trading facilities for Tet items under the management fields such as Electrical and electronic equipment; gasoline, diesel fuel; gold, fine art jewelry; liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); children toy; food, prepackaged food, etc. Thereby, detecting violations and promptly correcting for 6 establishments that have not yet met the measurement regulations.
