Establishment of support center for press digital transformation
The Ministry of Information and Communications has just held a press conference to announce the establishment of a press digital transformation support center (under the Press Department). The Center has the task of supporting press agencies to effectively implement the digital transformation goals in the Digital Press Transformation Strategy to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Also at the press conference, the Ministry of Information and Communications announced a set of indicators to evaluate and measure the maturity of digital transformation of the press. The set of indicators helps press agencies determine which stage they are in in the digital transformation process, thereby having an appropriate roadmap, plan and solution for digital transformation, helping the press agency innovate effectively. Accordingly, the model to evaluate and measure the maturity of digital transformation of press agencies includes 42 criteria divided into 10 sub-indices and grouped into 5 pillars of digital transformation, with the number of the maximum total score is 100 points, including: Strategy, digital infrastructure; digital platforms and information security; organizational and professional homogeneity; readers, audiences, listeners and the level of digital technology application.
After the press agency has been appraised and evaluated, the Ministry of Information and Communications will issue a certificate of maturity in digital transformation. The publication of the ranking of the maturity level of newspaper digital transformation is carried out and announced annually by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
