Assoc. Pro, Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission attended the first symposium with the theme "Improving smart production capacity and developing the digital technology industry in the direction of Make in Vietnam".
The High-Level Forum on Industry 4.0 in 2023 was held to implement Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, attracting the attention and attendance of more than 1,500 domestic and international delegates. The forum consists of a series of 4 seminars, in which, the first seminar with the theme "Improving smart production capacity and developing the digital technology industry in the direction of Make in Vietnam".
The seminar focused on the following topics: Development of the digital technology industry; Digital transformation in production; IoT application in production optimization; Technology 4.0 in production, promoting the enhancement of enterprise value and competitiveness; Promote the development of the digital technology industry with Make in Vietnam solution; The new generation of intelligent production management and operation (MoM) solutions.
Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Hong Son cited Ericsson's forecast as saying that by 2025, the Asia-Pacific region will attract two-thirds of global manufacturers, of which leading manufacturers are smart manufacturing. Currently, 7 countries in the region including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand have deployed the production of 5G smart technology devices. Vietnam is also evaluated by Ericsson as an attractive destination with revenue from the 5G industry estimated at $1.54 billion by 2030.
