Seminar: 'Improve the effectiveness of the National Quality Award, support businesses to reach international level'
At 9:30 AM, in the morning (June 15, 2023), at Vietnam Quality Online (VietQ.vn) took place the online seminar program "Improving the effectiveness of the National Quality Award, supporting businesses to reach the national level”.

After nearly 30 years of establishment and development, the National Quality Award has gone beyond the framework of a mere award, contributing to improving the productivity, quality, and competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises and promote the sustainable development of the national economy.
There are 3 important milestones to mention in the development of the national quality heritage: Phase 1 (1996 - 1999), this is the stage of building initial foundations, activities are mainly propaganda to build quality productivity movement;
Phase 2 (2000 - 2008) marked an important turning point reflected in two events: 2000 was the first year that Vietnam officially participated in the Asia-Pacific International Quality Award (GPEA); Since 2001, the Prime Minister decided to award Certificates of Merit to enterprises that won the Gold Prize. This shows the interest and proper appreciation of the position and importance of the National Quality Value for the development and competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises;
Phase 3 (from 2009 - up to now), this is the development stage in both width and depth, clearly demonstrating the position and role of an award at the national level.
The National Quality Award is the only annual quality award that is codified by the Law on Product Quality and issued according to international rules - under the Asia- International Quality Award system of the Asia-Pacific Quality Organization.
Dr. Nguyen Hoang Linh - Deputy Director of the Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality, Vice Chairman of the National Quality Management Council emphasized: "The National Quality Value Ratio, through evaluation criteria, helps enterprises towards excellence in production activities - business - service by approaching quality according to a system of core values".
