Second meeting of the National Council of the National Quality Awards 2023
On March 8, 2024, in Hanoi, the National Quality Award Council 2023 held its second meeting. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the National Quality Award Council in 2023 Le Xuan Dinh attended and directed the meeting.

Attending the meeting, there were Acting General Director of the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, Vice Chairman of the National Quality Award Council 2023 Ha Minh Hiep and representatives of leaders of relevant agencies, organizations and units.
At the Meeting, the Council heard the Standing Agency Report on the results of reviewing and appraising enterprises participating in the National Quality Award 2023, and the proposed list of organizations/enterprises that are awarded the National Quality Gold Award, National Quality Award 2023, National Quality Award and National Quality Award Plan of activities for in the coming time.
Accordingly, after nearly 30 years of implementation, from 1996 until now, there have been 2,079 times of businesses participating in the National Quality Award with 302 times of businesses winning the Gold Award, 1,750 times of businesses winning the National Quality Award (formerly the Silver Award), 129 times of businesses winning the National Quality Award (formerly the Silver Award), Enterprises were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and 52 enterprises won the Asia-Pacific International Quality Award.
In 2023, there were 54 enterprises from 26 Preliminary Councils of provinces, cities, ministries and branches proposed to the National Council to consider and propose the Ministry of Science and Technology to submit to the Prime Minister to award the National Quality Award in 2023.
During the first meeting of the National Council - National Quality Aweard in 2023, National Council members agreed in principle with the review and appraisal results of the Standing Agency of the National Quality Award on enterprises participating in the National Quality Award in 2023; Agree on the list of enterprises participating in the National Quality Awards 2023 to be appraised on-site.
Speaking to direct the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Xuan Dinh proposed that the Standing Agency continue to appraise enterprises participating in the 2023 National Quality Award; Complete the list of proposed organizations and businesses to be awarded the National Quality Gold Award and National Quality Award in 2023; continue to monitor compliance with State regulations related to intellectual property, labor safety, environmental protection, tax payment obligations, and etc. At the same time, assign the National Quality Award Standing Agency to collect opinions of the People's Committees of provinces, cities, and relevant functional units; Complete the dossier for the Ministry of Science and Technology to submit to the Prime Minister for the National Quality Award in 2023.
