Another start for Vietnamese semiconductors
More than forty years after the unsuccessful start of Vietnam's semiconductor industry with the Z181 factory, Vietnam's semiconductor dream now has another start.

Continuously over the past six months, the topic of semiconductors has been hotly discussed, from government, ministry, industry, and local levels to institutes, schools, businesses, and even people. It seems that Vietnam is eager to keep pace with the world as it is about to issue a National Strategy on the Semiconductor Industry, which will begin implementation since 2024.
