Prime Minister: Semiconductor human resource training is a breakthrough in human resource training breakthroughs
In the afternoon of April 24, concluding the Conference on developing human resources for the semiconductor industry, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested that human resource development for the semiconductor industry be considered a breakthrough in the field of semiconductor industry. Human resource training and investment are needed to match this breakthrough.

Vietnam has an advantage in attracting the semiconductor industry, with forecasts of strong growth and large revenues. To affirm this position, it is necessary to improve policy mechanisms, develop infrastructure and high-quality human resources. Proposal to take advantage of existing training facilities and develop supporting industries, along with efforts from the Government and management levels to meet the human resource needs of the semiconductor industry.

Vietnam has advantages in developing the semiconductor industry. The conference emphasized the importance of this industry and its great growth potential. Vietnam needs to focus on perfecting mechanisms and policies; Invest in infrastructure and develop high-quality human resources. The Prime Minister highly appreciated and affirmed that developing the semiconductor industry is an important strategy for the country, needing to focus on 5 pillars of development, including human resources. Vietnam has policies and plans to develop this industry until 2030, as well as cooperate with international partners, such as the United States to promote the semiconductor industry.

The Vietnamese government aims to train 50,000-100,000 human resources for the semiconductor industry. To achieve this, the Prime Minister asked relevant agencies to focus on investing and developing human resources, as well as building appropriate policies and infrastructure. The Ministry of Planning and Investment is also tasked with reviewing and completing the Human Resource Development Program for the semiconductor industry until 2030.

Vietnam's Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Finance are all taking measures to develop the semiconductor chip industry. Activities include student training, technology research, funding balance, and adjusting the mechanism for using state budget to promote the development of this industry.

People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities and universities are required to coordinate closely to allocate budget sources to support semiconductor industry training. Businesses are also encouraged to participate in building the semiconductor human resource market. The Prime Minister believes that this will help Vietnam complete the goal of training 50,000-100,000 human resources for the semiconductor industry by 2030.
