Sweden - Vietnam cooperated to promote 5G, digital and green transformation
During his visit to Vietnam, Minister Benjamin Dousa will meet with leaders of Vietnamese ministries, such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Construction to discuss trade and economic cooperation, as well as issues related to the investment environment for Swedish businesses.

The discussions will focus on important topics such as 5G technology, the green transition, and the implementation of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
The Minister will also deliver an opening speech at the event “Strengthening Healthcare Cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam”, organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and Team Sweden, bringing together leading companies, such as AstraZeneca, Getinge and Ericsson. The event demonstrates Sweden’s long-term commitment to innovation and healthcare cooperation, contributing to the sustainable development of this relationship.
In addition, the delegation will visit the National Children's Hospital to meet with leaders and explore cooperation opportunities in child health care, medical research and innovation. This is a symbol of the friendship between the two countries, with Sweden providing financial and technical support for the first cooperation project between the two countries. At the same time, Minister Dousa will participate in the Sweden-Vietnam Infrastructure Investment Dialogue, focusing on the areas of green transition, digitalization, mining, energy, artificial intelligence and semiconductors.
