Future development trends of traceability
In the future, technology is considered a key factor in promoting the development of traceability systems. Experts emphasize that blockchain applications will help make data transparent and uneditable, while IoT allows real-time product tracking.

At the same time, artificial intelligence (AI) will analyze data, provide forecasts on product quality, help improve control and ensure safe and clear goods for both consumers and businesses.
In Vietnam, facing the current situation of counterfeit goods, dirty food and lack of transparency in the market, traceability has become an essential requirement to identify, track and control the entire production, transportation and distribution process. This system is often based on QR codes, RFID or barcodes, providing easily accessible information on the origin of raw materials, processing, responsible units and related certifications, thereby helping consumers choose safe and authentic products.
To maximize the effectiveness of traceability, there needs to be close coordination between management agencies, businesses and consumers in applying technology, updating standards and building a more transparent system. Government support and appropriate policies will help improve the traceability system in Vietnam, creating a foundation for a transparent, safe and sustainable market, serving the interests of consumers and enhancing national prestige.
