Da Nang invested nearly 490 billion VND in startup workspace
The “Danang Innovation Space” project proposed by the City People’s Committee aims to build a modern startup center, gathering and developing domestic and foreign technology ideas and businesses. Not only a workplace, the center also aims to create a complete innovation ecosystem, promoting the strong development of this field in the locality.

Currently, Da Nang has about 41,000 businesses, branches and representative offices, but co-working spaces only accommodate about 800-900 seats, too low compared to the growing demand. The spaces are all scattered, lacking effective connection and interaction, leading to limitations in the startup community following global trends, where diversity and collaboration are key factors to promote innovation.
The project aims to create an open, diverse, and comprehensively supportive space for startups, helping them easily access experts, capital, infrastructure, and cooperation opportunities. At the same time, the city is also promoting technology development policies according to the National Assembly resolution, with an expected budget of about 3,500 billion VND in the period of 2026-2030 to develop key projects and works. This aims to turn Da Nang into a center for research, production, and export of high-tech products, especially in the field of semiconductor chips, playing a strategic role in the country's technology development strategy.
