The intersection of government and business will drive digital transformation
In the morning of May 11, Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center organized a field trip, hands-on experience and workshop on “AI for digital transformation.”

The delegation visited the Galaxy Innovation Hub.
Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, Vo Thi Trung Trinh, emphasized that the tour is an important step to promote after-hours activities, create a space for exchange among state officials and employees and businesses, thereby forming a digital transformation mindset. She emphasized that to carry out real digital transformation, the government needs to change its way of thinking, not only digitizing processes but also innovating the way of interacting with people and businesses, considering them as the only customers.
Ms. Trinh gave the example of Ho Chi Minh City's Digital Citizen application, integrating VNeID identification for authentication and connecting public policies, such as Metro subsidies and support for priority groups. In the future, this platform can integrate more services from organizations and businesses to better serve the people. At the same time, she said that raising awareness about AI is necessary, so that people understand and apply technology ethically and effectively, not to replace humans, but to support intellectual development and productivity.
Finally, Ms. Trinh hopes that these activities will not stop at meetings, but will connect more closely to build a strong digital ecosystem, develop sustainably for the ultimate goal of serving people better, towards a dynamic and modern digital government.
