On May 21, 2025, at the Can Tho City Party Committee Hall, a conference was held to launch the "Digital literacy for all" movement, aiming to promote comprehensive digital transformation for the city.
Attending the event, there were city leaders, such as Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, along with representatives of departments, organizations, Party Building Committees and districts, including online. This movement is a key task in the process of building a knowledge society, helping people to be proactive, creative and adapt flexibly to the digital age, contributing to economic and social development and raising awareness of safety in the digital environment.

The program sets a clear goal for 2025-2026, in which 100% of civil servants, public employees, workers will be updated with digital skills and knowledge to serve their work, study and creativity; at the same time, raise awareness of risks and ensure safety in the digital environment. To achieve this goal, Can Tho City will deploy synchronous solutions, such as popularizing digital transformation knowledge, training digital skills for vulnerable groups, building community models, such as "Digital family" and "Digital rural area", spreading digital skills throughout society.
