Hanoi promotes the development of high-tech agriculture towards sustainable agriculture. According to the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee, by 2030, at least 20% of science and technology tasks related to the application of high technology and digital technology in agriculture will be researched, applied and transferred.
Hanoi aims to develop high-tech agriculture with clear targets, such as increasing 10-20% of farm models, cooperatives, and enterprises applying new technologies in management and production each year, and forming at least 10 enterprises producing according to this model to meet the standards of high-tech agricultural enterprises. The city will also build a center and plan a standardized agricultural area, of which at least one area is recognized, along with promoting cooperatives, enterprises, and production households to apply electronic farms, smart agriculture, and product quality management systems.
To achieve these goals, Hanoi focuses on key solutions, such as promoting research, application of science and technology and development of digital technology to improve productivity and quality of agricultural products; building mechanisms and policies to encourage investment in high-tech agriculture; cooperating and training human resources with the ability to manage and operate modern production systems; at the same time, promoting communication and raising awareness of the role of technology in sustainable agriculture. The City People's Committee directs relevant departments to coordinate and implement research tasks, pilot the recognition of city-level digital agriculture models and support the development of infrastructure and investment capital for businesses.
Hanoi aims to build a modern agriculture, applying high technology to improve productivity and quality, helping local agricultural products meet international standards, expand markets and increase economic value for the agricultural sector. Relevant agencies will study and propose the establishment of high-tech agricultural zones, ensuring sustainable operation, creating a solid foundation for the capital's agriculture in the future.
