The production processes are carried out using steam distillation and vacuum techniques, helping to create high-quality, safe and diverse products for purposes, such as cosmetics, food, beverages and beauty care.
Specifically, lemon juice has a Brix of 7.5 to 8.5, a pH of 2 to 3, and can be stored for 7 days at 0-5°C. Concentrated lemon juice has a Brix of 35 to 45, a pH of 2 to 3, and a storage period of 1 month at 0-5°C and up to 12 months at ≤ -10°C. These products are suitable for food, beverage, cosmetic and other industries.
The technologies have been successfully applied at Thien Yet Trading and Service Company Limited - Hau Giang Branch, with a processing model with a capacity of 100 kg of raw materials/batch, obtaining 200-400 ml of essential oil of quality according to TCVN 11423:2016 standards. At the same time, the project also trained nearly 20 local officials and workers on techniques to help lemon growers increase their income and stabilize their economy. The project has been accepted by the Department of Science and Technology of Hau Giang and met the requirements.
