Da Nang: Green transformation, digital transformation to build a sustainable development ecosystem
At the COP26 Conference, the Prime Minister pledged to bring net zero emissions by 2050 (Net Zero), demonstrating Vietnam's strong determination in taking action against climate change. In December 2022, Vietnam continued to sign the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) with developed countries to promote sustainable energy transition and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Delegates visited and learned about new clean energy technology.
In that context, Da Nang city has identified green transformation, digitalization and renewable energy development as strategic directions. With many programs to support businesses in digital transformation, building smart factories, developing rooftop solar energy and piloting a green electricity certification mechanism, Da Nang is striving to promote sustainable development in line with global trends.
The workshop provided information on renewable energy development policies, energy saving, digital technology applications in energy management and optimization, along with the role of renewable energy certificates in green production and international integration. In addition, new solutions, such as solar power storage technology, integrated battery technology and clean energy investment funds were also introduced.
Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Van Tru, believes that the workshop will spread awareness, promote connections and actions to build a sustainable development ecosystem, effectively adapting to global climate change.
