Mid-term evaluation council of Tan Thoi durian brand development and management project
In the afternoon of December 29, 2021, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology established the mid-term Science and Technology evaluation Council. The study is implemented by Dr. Le Van Banh – Director, Can Tho Mekong Institute of Science and Technology – Branch of NHONHO Technology Limited Company and MSc. Nguyen Thanh Vu - Chairman of the Labor Union of Phong Dien district. Can Tho Mekong Institute of Science and Technology - Branch of NHONHO Technology Limited Company is the presiding agency.
The project is implemented with the aim of building, exploiting and developing the Tan Thoi durian brand, thereby contributing to improving the value and competitiveness of the product in the domestic and foreign markets.
Counical members
Over the time of project implementation, the research team has carried out the following contents: Investigate to assess the current status of production and consumption of products, exploitation situation, management of collective trademarks and identification of markets. Target market for Tan Thoi durian products in Phong Dien district, Can Tho City; Building a model of organization, management and development of the Tan Thoi durian collective brand.
Research team
It is expected that the remaining work needs to be done in the coming time: Building an organizational model, managing and developing the Tan Thoi Durian collective brand; Evaluating the effectiveness of the model and proposing solutions to improve added value for Tan Thoi collective branded Durian product.
The Council highly appreciated the mid-term results of the project and agreed that the project will continue to implement the remaining phase according to the schedule and according to the suggestions of the council members.
