Press release of the scientific workshop "Science, technology and innovation to promote digital transformation in agriculture"
Under the impact of the fourth industrial revolution, on the basis of achievements in science, technology and innovation, the digital transformation process has had a strong impact on most areas of the world economic and social life in each country in the world.

Similar to many other economic sectors, agriculture and rural development are not outside the digital transformation circle. In Vietnam, the core value of digital transformation in agriculture and rural areas is to bring breakthrough solutions and technologies based on digital technology into the production process to help farmers produce more efficiently, creating products of higher value, thereby creating an environment, an agricultural digital ecosystem as the foundation, creating institutions, promoting the transition from "Agricultural production" to "Agricultural economy",  develop high-tech agriculture in the direction of focusing on smart agriculture and precision agriculture, increasing the proportion of digital agriculture in the economy.

To introduce scientific, technological and innovative achievements applied to the digital transformation process in the agricultural sector, creating a bridge to promote the development of high-tech agriculture. At the same time, to strengthen the connection among managers, scientists, researchers, businesses and organizations supporting businesses in the digital transformation process in the field of agriculture, the Department of Science and Technology cooperated together with the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee to organize a scientific workshop "Science, technology and innovation to promote digital transformation in the agricultural sector."

The event will start at 08:00 on June 24, 2022 in 02 forms (directly at the main bridge point is TTC Can Tho Hotel Hall and online through 2D, 3D, Zoom meeting technology platforms) with the main contents: Theoretical foundations of science, technology and innovation promote digital transformation in the agricultural sector; science, technology and innovation development practices promote digital transformation in the agricultural sector; solutions recommendations promote scientific, technological development and innovation to promote digital transformation in the field of agriculture and typical technological solutions, equipment, and models for digiotal transformation in the agricultural sector.

The scientific workshop "Science, technology and innovation to promote digital transformation in agriculture" is an event that combines a workshop with a direct and online display of technological solutions, equipment and solutions. Scientific and technological equipment and products applied in digital transformation in the agricultural sector are displayed online on the exhibition channel Khoahoccantho.vn through videos, information and images identified by Qr-codes.
