Research on the technological process of producing products from citrus (Citrus sinensis)
In the afternoon of January 12, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a meeting for the mid-term evaluation of the Science and Technology project "Research on the technological process of producing products from citrus (Citrus sinensis)". The study was carried out by Dr. Huynh Xuan Phong. Can Tho University is a presiding agency.

Coucil's members
The research contents of the project include: Analysis and assessment of quality components of citrus (sensory and physicochemical) in the Mekong Delta; Research on the technological process of producing dried flexible citrus; Research on the technological process of concentrated orange juice production; Research the technological process of pure citrus powder production; Research on technological process of extraction and recovery of essential oil from citrus peel by distillation method; Research on the technological process of microbial organic fertilizer production; Organizing conferences to announce research results and training production processes. In which, 3/6 contents have been completed, 1 content is over 40% completed, 2 contents are being implemented about more than 50%. It is expected to be completed as planned. Contents expected to be completed in the near future include: Research on the technological process of pure citrus powder production; Research on the technological process of microbial organic fertilizer production; Organizing conferences to announce research results and training production.

Research team
The coucil evaluated project completed on schedule. At the same time, the Council also gave some suggestions for the research team to complete the content according to the explanatory outline and agreed for them to continue implementing the project.
