Pioneering woman promoted local startup ecosystem
The field of communication activities on science and technology has created many opportunities for MSc. Tran Bich Hanh, Deputy Director of the Center for Science and Technology Information and Application, Department of Science and Technology of Phu Tho province to interact with many people, go many places, participate in many community activities. In which, supporting innovation start-ups is an activity that she devotes a lot of enthusiasm and effort.
Mrs. Hanh pioneered in implementing the tasks of Project 844.
When implementing the task of Project 844, she faced many difficulties when she had to connect a completely new field and coordinate with units under the Department from 15 Northern Midland and Mountain provinces within the scope of the task. This is not an easy job when she has repeatedly received negative feedback, questions, difficult requests, and delayed work progress. However, with perseverance, ingenuity and skills that she has cultivated from training courses, she has found a common voice and consensus of local leaders. She turned "danger" into "opportunity" to connect and expand her network to continue implementing the next tasks.
After her efforts, leaders at all levels have acknowledged and evaluated the efforts and achievements of her and her colleagues in the development of the regional and national ecosystems. In 2022, the Center for Science and Technology Information and Application - where she is working has been issued a Decision on functions and tasks by the Department, which adds more content on innovation start-ups. At the same time, the Department has agreed to the policy of building an innovation space of Phu Tho province, located at the headquarters of the Center. These are the initial results, the foundation for her and her colleagues to continue to fulfill their passion and try harder for the cause of contributing to the common ecosystem.
