Research and application of PCR-SPOTCCHECK (PCRsc) technology process to diagnose and screen white spot virus (WSSV) causing disease in white shrimp
In the morning of January 24, 2024, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology established a Council to evaluate the results of implementing science and technology tasks without using the state budget on the science and technology project: "Research and application of PCR-SPOTCHECK (PCRsc) technology process for clinical diagnosis and filtering white spot virus (WSSV) that causes disease in white-legged shrimp". The Council was presided by Dr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology. The study was carried by Mr. Ngo Quoc Nam. Phu Sa Genomics Joint Stock Company was a presiding unit.

The project aims to build a PCR-SPOTCHECK' (PCRsc) diagnostic process to replace Real time PCR; Apply this PCR-SPOTCHECK (PCRsc) procedure to diagnose pathogens.

The Council highly appreciated the research results of the author group, individual authors and Su Sa Genomics Joint Stock Company. This is a very meaningful scientific research and practical value in supporting white-legged shrimp farmers in the Mekong Delta and the whole country to control epidemics. However, the research team needs to correct some contents and complete the report according to comments from council members.
