Sử dụng blockchain để hợp lý hóa chuỗi cung ứng
Nhóm nghiên cứu của Đại học Missouri College of Engineering đề xuất một phương pháp mới sử dụng công nghệ blockchain để hợp lý hóa chuỗi cung ứng.

Blockchain là một cơ sở dữ liệu phi tập trung cho phép nhiều bên liên quan truy cập và chia sẻ thông tin một cách an toàn, minh bạch. Người dùng có thể cung cấp thông tin cho cơ sở dữ liệu phi tập trung; tuy nhiên, chúng không thể giả mạo dữ liệu sau khi dữ liệu được ghi lại.

Trong khi những người khac đang nghiên cứu cách kết hợp blockchain vào các hệ thống chuỗi cung ứng, đề xuất của nhóm đã nghiên cứu nhiều khía cạnh của quy trình từ góc độ điện toán đám mây.

Các chuỗi cung ứng trở nên quan trọng trong COVID-19. Khi bắt đầu đại dịch, các bệnh viện đang tranh giành nhau để xác định vị trí, mặt nạ, máy thở, giường và các vật dụng khác. Gần đây, các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe đã phải làm việc với các nhà cung cấp riêng biệt để tiếp cận vắc xin một cách nhanh chóng và trong điều kiện luôn thay đổi.

Trong khi chỉ có một số công ty cung cấp vắc-xin, hàng ngàn bệnh viện, viện dưỡng lão và nhà cung cấp dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe phải tiếp cận các nhãn hiệu khác nhau từ các nhà cung cấp khác nhau. Một hệ thống blockchain phi tập trung (hoặc dựa trên đám mây) sẽ hợp lý hóa quy trình, giúp các chuyên gia y tế xác định vị trí, yêu cầu và theo dõi nguồn cung cấp dễ dàng hơn. Một bệnh viện cũng có thể sử dụng cơ sở dữ liệu để báo cáo nguồn cung cấp không sử dụng, cho phép một nhà cung cấp dịch vụ y tế khác yêu cầu dữ liệu.
