De Heus Group (Netherlands) announced its cooperation with Microsoft Vietnam through the choice of Microsoft Azure cloud solution to deploy agricultural 4.0 applications across its entire management and operation system in Vietnam. Vietnam and other countries in Asia where De Heus is present, contribute to bringing clean food to consumers.
De Heus Group (Netherlands) is a group operating on a global scale, with more than 100 years of experiences in providing advanced solutions for animal nutrition, present in more than 75 countries, consisting of 82 factories spread in key livestock regions of the world with more than 6,000 employees globally, De Heus is proud to be in the top 10 of the world's largest animal feed manufacturers.
After more than 12 years of entering the animal feed, livestock and food market in Vietnam, De Heus always strives to contribute sustainable values in agricultural development and to bring clean food closer with Vietnamese consumers.
So far, De Heus Vietnam has made great progress compared to many enterprises in the industry with 9 feed mills equipped with modern European technologies in key provinces of the country.
According to Mr. Tan, except for programs to rescue and support agricultural products, some exchanges and businesses accept to reduce interest to create a good image, then have to recalculate the cost problem.
Although the fresh food industry sold on the floor is still quite modest, it is opening many expectations. According to a survey by Haravan, in the first quarter of 2021, the demand for online food purchases increased by about 65% compared to the same period last year and is expected to increase in the second quarter of 2021 as well. This increase is high for the food industry, but low compared to the market as a whole.
If the total sales of Vietnam's retail market is 200 billion USD, then e-commerce accounts for about 10 billion USD. However, the agricultural products and online food industry have previously sold less than 1 billion USD. With an increase of 65%, compared to the total retail market, it also accounted for only 0.5%. With the increasing momentum recorded in June 2021, the increase of agricultural products and food products sold through the floor this year may double and this is a good sign.
