Japan and APO sponsor Vietnam food cold preservation equipment
Equipment to make shaved ice from salt water, electromagnetic cold storage container helps keep food fresh for 5 times longer than normal.

In the afternoon of October 12, the online signing ceremony of the sponsorship agreement between the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) and the Japanese Government for Phu Yen took place at the bridge points of Hanoi - Phu Yen and Tokyo (Japan).
The Japanese government through APO will sponsor 4 cold storage equipment including 2 Kuraban 20ft cold storage containers, 1 40ft cold storage container and 1 Sea Snow shaved ice machine. The sponsoring side will also provide related training and consulting at the selected model sites.
Cold storage container is an electromagnetic cold storage device, allowing to maintain freshness and product quality for at least 5 times longer than conventional refrigerated containers. The preserved product does not freeze during storage.
Equipment for making shaved ice from salt water See Snow creates porous ice like snow, capable of keeping the temperature at -10C with a salt concentration of 1%, allowing to maintain the freshness of seafood without damage to the product. The optimal cold chain using Japanese technology brings many times greater added value to fresh agricultural and aquatic products. The total capital of the funded project is 57 million Japanese Yen, equivalent to 11 billion VND.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. AKP Mochtan, General Secretary of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) said that these are two cold storage devices using advanced, unique and modern technology developed by the enterprises of the Japanese company. This preservation model provides fresh food, the storage time is increased by 3-10 times compared to the conventional cold storage method. Mr. AKP Mochtan hopes the device will bring great benefits to the people of Phu Yen.
