Golden time to promote Blockchain technology development
The General Secretary of the Vietnam Internet Association said that now it is the golden time for Vietnam to promote the application of advanced technologies, such as Blockchain to create outstanding growth for the potential digital economy.

Currently, Blockchain technology is currently receiving a lot of attention from organizations and businesses around the world as well as in Vietnam. With its decentralized nature, Blockchain technology makes the process of fast and efficient digital data authentication, but it still retains the security and privacy of the data. This makes Blockchain technology has been deployed in many digital transformation projects, especially digital identity projects.
According to Mr. Vu The Binh, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Internet Association, 2022 is the year marking 25 years of Vietnam joining the global Internet, so now it is the golden time for Vietnam to promote using advanced technologies, such as Blockchain to create outstanding growth for the potential digital economy.
Talking about the benefits of Blockchain, Mr. Do Van Long, CEO of Vietnam Blockchain Joint Stock Company, Blockchain technology is considered one of the key tools in digital transformation. Blockchain is applied in many fields, such as smart cities, financial technologies, sharing economy, supply chain, public services, logistics, e-commerce, agriculture and etc.
Digital identity solutions are considered a big step towards the direction of approaching Blockchain technoloies in Vietnam. Not only does it help provide proactiveness in authentication and information security in the online environment, the solution also simplifies interactions between Government, businesses and individuals, thereby bringing benefits to customers significant in the direction of business process improvement.
In Vietnam today, the lives of families are increasingly markedly improved, especially in urban areas. Thence, the demand for domestic workers has also increased. Recent studies show that domestic workers in Vietnam are mostly women, who have not been properly trained in skills, mainly looking for work through informal channels... Technological solutions to protect the rights and interests of employees as well as increase the impact of programs and projects on labor are getting more and more attention, one of which is Blockchain.
