Can Tho: Regulations on support levels for intellectual property protection registration in the city until 2030
On July 8, 2022, Can Tho City People's Council approved Resolution No. 03/2022/NQ-HDND on stipulating the level of support for registration of intellectual property protection until 2030 in the area of Can Tho City.

The Resolution applies to agencies, organizations and individuals involved in the management and implementation of the Intellectual Property Development Program and other relevant agencies, organizations and individuals. Support the registration of intellectual property protection until 2030 in Can Tho city, including: Registration of protection of inventions; industrial designs and trademarks; registration for protection and recognition of new plant varieties under the Intellectual Property Development Program in Can Tho City until 2030, specifically as follows:
1. Registration for protection in the country
- For applications for registration of invention protection and registration for protection and recognition of new plant varieties: 30 million VND/application is validly accepted.
- For industrial design and trademark protection registration applications: 15 million VND /protection title.
2. Registering for protection abroad
Register for protection of inventions; industrial designs and trademarks; registration for protection and recognition of new plant varieties: 60 million VND/application is validly accepted, corresponding documents according to regulations of international organizations or the applicant country.
The above resolution was approved by Can Tho City People's Council, term X, at its sixth session on July 8, 2022 and took effect from July 18, 2022.
