With its decentralized nature, blockchain is suitable for application in verifying the correctness of data, making information transparent, and making data communication easier between actors in the software ecosystem.
According to technology experts, blockchain's value lies in its ability to manage data with integrity, transparency and high reliability. This data management ability is considered an important factor in pilot research and implementation of e-government models in many countries around the world, including transparency.
Specifically, blockchain databases can be used to store and protect records without anyone being able to manipulate or hide information; verification and data storage can be distributed to multiple parties, effectively decentralizing power. Additionally, decentralized blockchains can provide permanent access to records that law enforcement officials and watchdog organizations may need to use to uncover incidents of corruption or abuse of power.
Vietnam Blockchain Association commented that blockchain's applications are very rich and diverse. A typical example is people's identity management, providing citizens with the opportunity for autonomous identification. Thereby, citizens have granular control over access to their identification (ID), the information contained within which is instantly verifiable.
Experts say that blockchain is considered one of the technologies of the future, which will play an important role in development and solving social problems. As simple as it can be seen, if blockchain is applied, people can notarize online, instead of going to a notary office or state agency. Blockchain with authenticated data, the officer receiving documents only needs a code to retrieve information to verify documents. They can make their own decision on notarization, without needing to submit it to another authority, minimizing processing time.
