Excellent students competed at the Artificial Intelligence Olympiad
The 2025 National Artificial Intelligence for High School pupils attracted nearly 150 excellent candidates from specialized high schools in provinces, cities and universities in Vietnam.

Pupils attended the preliminary round at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology exam site.
After the preliminary round of multiple-choice tests on May 11 at 5 major testing locations, 99 candidates with the best results entered the final round taking place from May 31 to June 2 at the University of Technology - VNU. The final round included practical tests on Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing, applying machine learning models, with the test automatically graded according to international standards.
The program focuses on promoting the movement of learning, research and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence, in line with the Party's policy of breakthrough in science and technology development. The students participating in the contest all have high achievements in national and provincial competitions in Information Technology and scientific and technical innovation competitions, demonstrating outstanding abilities in AI knowledge and skills.
The organization Board will coordinate with educational institutions, the Vietnam Association for Information Technology and RIVA to select a national team to compete in the International AI Olympiad in Beijing from August 2-9. The Ministry of Education plans to recognize and reward high-level awards, and consider selecting outstanding students to expand achievements, contributing to the development of young, passionate and talented human resources in the field of artificial intelligence in Vietnam.
