In the first 6 months of 2022, with the task of being the focal agency to guide, synthesize, prepare and submit for approval the national standard development plan (TCVN), Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality has advising, commenting and appraising national technical regulations of specialized management ministries. So far, the Dirctorate has submitted to the Ministry of Science and Technology for publication 107 more national standards.
The publication and promulgation of national standards make the inspection of domestic goods transparent, as well as ensure the quality of goods when they reach consumers, and at the same time contribute to supporting businesses in affirming their determining the quality of exported products, meeting international requirements set integration.
A number of standards are published in 2022, such as national standards for geological mineral mapping; national standards on fire prevention and fighting; national standards on parts, equipment and systems for undersea petro exploitation; national standards on information technology-safety techniques; National standard on diatomaceous earth concentrate-determining the content of various substances.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh, Deputy Director Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality (Ministry of Science and Technology), said that in the first 6 months of the year, the Directorate has actively researched and implemented management measures through the development of legal documents related to activities of standards, measurement and quality of products and goods to ensure uniformity to meet the requirements of society.
The Directorate also guides specialized management ministries to implement issues related to the field of quality measurement standards to support enterprises in international integration.
At the beginning of 2022, in the context that the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic is still complicated and unpredictable, the Directorate will continue to perform tasks to effectively serve the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, maintaining the free supply 18 national standards related to the field of medical equipment (ventilators, respirators, medical masks, antibacterial masks ...) to serve businesses and communities in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic -19.
