Hau Giang needs to promote digital transformation and information technology application
On May 19, a Government delegation led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long had a working session with Hau Giang province on the situation of production, business, and public investment, infrastructure construction and import and export in the area.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long highly appreciated the achievements of Hau Giang province in socio-economic development.
Notably, Hau Giang province has identified and focused on institutional improvement and administrative reform as one of three strategic breakthroughs for the term of 2020-2025, considering this as a key task. At the same time, the Minister also noted the proposals and recommendations of the province, in order to solve the difficulties and problems encountered.
In the coming time, the Justice Minister suggested that Hau Giang should continue to promote its spirit, responsibility, initiative, and advise on the implementation of tasks within its authority.
Hau Giang also needs to accelerate the implementation of digital transformation and application of information technology in various fields, serving socio-economic development.
Especially, the province implements guidelines, policies and synchronously deploys a system of documents with strategic orientation, dominance, creating a foundation for the implementation of economic development goals and tasks- society for the period of 2021-2025 quickly and sustainably.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province, the socio-economic situation in the area in the first 4 months of 2023 continues to recover and grow positively.
